United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of america

Robert Gottschall has created over 50 bronze representational sculptures for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBCJA) and Southwest Mountain States Regional Council of Carpenters (SWMSRCC). The UBCJA ordered their first commission of 20 1/4 life size bronzes, "The Carpenter", to gift to senators, governors and dignitaries across the country in 1989. Since then, Gottschall's 1/4 to over life size bronze depictions of carpenters at work adorn Union offices and training centers in Washington D.C, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Albuquerque, Denver, and several in California including Los Angelos. The long and dynamic relationship between Client and Artist spanning 4 decades continues with a 1/3 life size of "Shoulder to Shoulder II" planned to be installed in SWMSRCC's newest training center in Carson, CA in 2023.
